Guided by the Far Eastern Group’s core values of Integrity, Diligence, Simplicity, Prudence, and Innovation, Everest has deeply embedded sustainability into its corporate culture and integrated it into its ESM Sustainable Management Model. The company is renowned for its fully vertically integrated manufacturing—from yarn, fabric, dyeing, and finishing to garment production—which enables strong system-wide synergy in energy conservation, carbon reduction, and resource circularity.
In carbon management, Everest continues to advance process optimization and energy efficiency. According to its latest disclosures, the company achieved a 22.5% reduction in emissions in 2024, surpassing its original 20% reduction target. This exceptional result demonstrates Everest practical effectiveness in climate governance and its forward-looking responsiveness to global net-zero trends.
Everest outstanding performance in water stewardship also played a key role in earning the Water Resource Management Leadership Award. By implementing reclaimed water systems, the ROTEC high-efficiency reverse osmosis system, and other technologies, the company significantly enhanced water reuse efficiency. In 2024, Everest achieved a total water recycling rate of 37.6%, effectively reducing its dependence on freshwater resources and lowering environmental impact—an achievement that reflects years of continuous investment in water-saving technologies and the establishment of a robust water management framework.
In addition, Everest places strong emphasis on transparency in sustainability governance and information disclosure. The company continues to publish its TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) Report, systematically presenting climate risks, opportunities, management strategies, and performance indicators to ensure clear and consistent communication with stakeholders.
Looking ahead, Everest Textile will continue to accelerate green product innovation by expanding the use of recycled polyester, bio-based materials, and other sustainable technologies to develop environmentally friendly textiles and apparel. At the same time, the company will further integrate sustainability into its overall business strategy and collaborate closely with employees, suppliers, brand partners, and the wider community to pursue a shared vision of sustainable prosperity for both the enterprise and the planet.
