In collaboration with All Way Environmental, Everest Textile has actively promoted water resource recovery by introducing the innovative FR-RO (Flow Reversal Reverse Osmosis) System. Addressing the challenges of textile dyeing wastewater characterized by high conductivity, high silica content, and high scaling potential, the system utilizes unique flow reversal and module rotation technologies. As a result, it reduces electricity consumption by 21.4%, lowers annual greenhouse gas emissions by 26.6 metric tons of CO₂e, and extends membrane service life while reducing waste membrane generation. In addition, the reduced use of antiscalant chemicals contributes to an annual reduction of approximately 27.6 metric tons of CO₂e emissions. The system has also successfully overcome the recovery limitations of conventional RO systems, achieving a stable water recovery rate of over 90%, delivering both environmental and economic benefits.

Everest Textile stated that, in response to global climate change and increasing water resource challenges, it continues to invest in the development of green manufacturing processes and wastewater recycling technologies. The company is committed to building highly efficient, low-energy circular water systems. Following its certification to ISO 46001:2019 Water Efficiency Management Systems last year, Everest Textile has adopted the principle of maximizing resource circularity, established a comprehensive water resource management framework, and continuously promoted water conservation, energy efficiency, and low-carbon transformation initiatives. These efforts have helped create a model for circular water management within the textile industry.

Receiving the Water Sustainability Award this year not only recognizes the company’s technological capabilities and sustainability achievements, but also demonstrates its comprehensive governance performance—from water management systems and process water conservation to high-efficiency wastewater reclamation and reuse. Everest Textile remains committed to advancing toward more efficient resource circulation and sustainable manufacturing.

Looking ahead, Everest Textile will continue to deepen its ESG and sustainability initiatives, striving to realize its vision of “Innovative Water Solutions, Smart Manufacturing for Net Zero.”
