In 2024, Everest actively advanced process water efficiency and circular utilization through multiple initiatives, including textile wastewater regeneration, AIKI wastewater recycling, reclaimed water reuse, and RE wastewater regeneration, effectively enhancing resource recovery rates. The company has also incorporated the ROTEC high-efficiency reverse osmosis system into its water resource recycling strategy, designating it as a new water source to meet international regulatory requirements and supply chain expectations for water sustainability. At the same time, Everest enforces rigorous wastewater management protocols, ensuring all discharge consistently surpasses regulatory standards, verified through ZDHC third-party testing, in line with its commitment to “Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals.”
Additionally, Everest has completed Higg FEM third-party verification and conducts water risk management in accordance with the WRI Water Risk Assessment and the TCFD framework, ensuring operational resilience. These concrete actions reflect the company’s strong sense of environmental responsibility and forward-looking strategy amid global sustainability trends. Everest's efforts have not only been recognized with the TCSA Sustainability Award – Water Resource Leadership Award, but also earned the ASSET Sustainability Excellence Award – Social Enterprise Sustainable Development Award in 2025, with its innovative All-Polyester Three-Layer Lamination Fabric. This product is made entirely of recycled polyester, including fabrics produced from recycled PET bottles, demonstrating the company’s strategic commitment to raw material circularity and sustainable product innovation.
Looking ahead, Everest is committed to achieving a 50% water recycling rate across all plants by 2030, continuing to invest in innovative technologies, foster cross-industry collaboration, and work closely with supply chain partners and stakeholders to build a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable future.
