YZU Launches Mandatory "Digital Humanities Applications" Course

Yuan Ze University's College of Humanities and Social Sciences Launches Mandatory "Digital Humanities Applications" Course.

In response to the advent of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) era, Yuan Ze University's College of Humanities and Social Sciences is introducing a new mandatory course, "Digital Humanities Applications," aimed at equipping students with computational thinking and key skills in using generative AI. This year-long course covers the basics of generative AI and its applications in various majors, spanning the first and second semesters of the freshman year. Starting from the 113th academic year, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences will replace the programming language course with the Digital Humanities Applications course, fostering students' computational thinking and essential skills in using generative AI, which will be applied in their respective professional fields.
