In January 1998, the company officially launched the world’s first fully integrated GSM900/1800 dual-band network, witnessed the liberalization of Taiwan telecommunications. FET won the championship in five key 5G netowork indicators of "availability", "accessibility", "video experience", "game experience" and "voice experience". Among them, "availability" and "accessibility" are significantly ahead of the industry.
Sustainability vanguard delivers warmth to rural areas.
FET called on 36 supplier partners to form a "sustainability vanguard" to help organizations in Taiwan with scarce resources with the expertise of suppliers. This year, the team successfully launched its second public welfare project to help new Taipei Wanli elementary school build a "big data + AI + IOT future science and technology classroom" and improve the "computer classroom" environment.

Telecom Equipment Recycling Program
FET announced that it is the first telecom operator in Taiwan to join Ericsson's Global Product Take-Back Program, which will recycle up to 98% of electronic waste, with a final landfill rate of only 2%, well above the 80% recycling standard recommended by the EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (EU WEEE).
