FENC Included in S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026 for Two Consecutives Years; ESG Performance Highly Recognized Internationally

Far Eastern New Century Corporation (FENC) has been selected for inclusion in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026, released today. This marks the second consecutive year FENC has been recognized in this prestigious global assessment, highlighting its continuous advancement in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance and its affirmation by international rating agencies.

The S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook is one of the world's most authoritative ESG evaluations. Based on the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), only the top 15% of companies within each industry globally are selected for membership. FENC secured its position as a Yearbook Member, demonstrating strong momentum in sustainable development through the deepening and implementation of its sustainability strategies.
FENC advances sustainable value through strategic initiatives across its three business segments:

  • Production Business: As the world’s largest supplier of food-grade recycled polyester (rPET), FENC has spearheaded the circular economy for nearly 40 years, with green products reaching a significant milestone of 40% of its Production Business revenue in 2025. FENC continues to drive technical breakthroughs in PET, rPET, high-value materials, and low-carbon, bio-based applications, garnering widespread international acclaim. In textile applications, FENC® Thermobionic—a bio-mimetic thermoregulating knitted fabric—and FENC® LoopFlex—a high-stretch, mono-material recyclable fabric—were honored with the Platinum and Gold Awards, respectively, at the 2025 A' Design Award in Italy. Furthermore, through a strategic cross-border partnership with French biotech innovator Carbios and global brand Salomon, FENC has successfully developed high-performance footwear utilizing bio-enzymatic recycling technology, an achievement honored with the prestigious ITMF International Cooperation Award.
  • Property Development Business: FENC’s flagship project, Taipei Far Eastern Telecom Park (Tpark), serves as a model for smart operations through its deployment of three in-house-developed digital platforms: park-scale BIM (Building Information Modeling), DPMS (Digital Property Management System), and T-Carbon (carbon emissions monitoring system). By leveraging these proprietary technologies to ensure "sustainable, long-term operational agility," Tpark is the first in Asia to earn dual Platinum certifications from WiredScore and SmartScore, adhering to top-tier international standards for digital resilience and smart operations.
  •  Investment Business: FENC focuses on high-performing listed companies within the Group, optimizing investment structures and promoting deep integration to drive stable earnings growth and create long-term value for shareholders.

Looking Ahead FENC remains committed to its strategy of empowering possibilities and sustainability. Through continuous disclosure and innovation, the Company will continue to work with stakeholders to build a greener, smarter, and more resilient future.
