FENC integrates sustainability into its financial decision-making, leveraging sustainable finance to advance its corporate strategies and linking raised funds to its sustainability objectives. FENC has established an integrated sustainable finance infrastructure encompassing capital market bonds, green financing, and commercial paper for money market, using diversified financial instruments to direct capital toward the circular economy, renewable energy, and industrial upgrades. As of the end of 2025, FENC had issued 51 sustainable financial products, mobilizing more than NT$90.2 billion, with multiple products recognized as the first of their kind in Taiwan or Asia. In 2025, FENC further pioneered the field by leading its subsidiaries in issuing the world’s first “Sustainable Commercial Paper” (CP), further expanding the application of sustainable financial products and embedding sustainability into corporate treasury management to build a highly scalable sustainable finance model.
FENC is committed to embedding sustainability into daily life, guided by the vision of “breaking down knowledge barriers and making sustainable behaviors an intergenerational intuition.” By transforming its core “r-PET: bottle recycling technology” into environmental education initiatives for social good, FENC has made long-term investments in promoting green and sustainable recycling practices. Through gamified curricula, interactive exhibitions, and international collaborations, FENC shares circular economy practices with communities around the world. Since 2022, FENC has fully sponsored “The Transformative Magic of Circularity” school program, using an immersive card game to encourage elementary school students to practice environmental protection in their daily lives. As of June 2026, the program had been implemented in 208 sessions, reaching 12,116 teachers and students. FENC has also continued its collaboration with the Beitou Refuse Incineration Plant through the “Egret Academy” interactive exhibition and partnered with counterparts in Vietnam to promote closed-loop recycling projects, helping green ideas take root both in Taiwan and overseas and expanding FENC’s global sustainability impact.
Looking ahead, FENC will continue to leverage its core capabilities in green materials and the circular economy. By actively connecting financial resources, industry partners, and government-industry-academia collaborations, FENC will drive financial innovation and translate sustainability initiatives into concrete action, accelerate the low-carbon transformation of industries, and contribute to a greener future.
