Far Eastern New Century Corporation (hereinafter “FENC”) has been named to the prestigious 2025 Taiwan FINI 100, securing 22nd among more than 2,000 publicly listed companies in Taiwan. The Taiwan FINI 100, jointly compiled by the Taiwan Institute of Directors and the Corporate Development Research Center, highlights the most outstanding companies in Taiwan’s capital market. The ranking evaluates companies across multiple dimensions, including market capitalization, financial resilience, and ESG governance, while also tracking the investment trends of foreign institutional investors (FINI) over the past year. By integrating both quantitative and qualitative factors, the Taiwan FINI 100 serves as an authoritative benchmark of the top 100 companies most trusted and favored by international investors.

In 2024, FENC recorded an increase of NT$7.7 billion in FINI’s shareholding, reflecting their confidence in the Company’s solid financial resilience, exemplary sustainability strategy, and innovative capabilities. These strengths have reinforced FENC’s leadership in the global market and further enhanced its long-term corporate value. Across its three key business segments, the Production Business operates 26 production sites across the Americas and Asia, positioning FENC as the world’s only fully integrated sustainable polyester supplier—spanning upstream raw materials to downstream end-use applications—and has been chosen as a long-term strategic partner by leading global brands. FENC has placed “green and low-carbon” development at its core, setting ambitious 2030 targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50% and achieve 50% of revenue from green products and 50% from sustainable raw materials—targets it is already on track to reach ahead of schedule. In innovation and R&D, FENC has achieved technological breakthroughs, developing the first one-material-design sneakers made from 100% recycled polyester and the industry’s first airbag fibers made entirely from chemical recycling. These achievements have earned international acclaim, including the Red Dot, iF Design, and Germany’s 2025 CO₂ Utilization Innovation Award - where FENC was the only Asian winner. FENC is also advancing AI-driven digital transformation, applying AI to cybersecurity and management processes, which earned recognition from the Ministry of Economic Affairs “Smart Innovation Award.”

In the Property Development Business, FENC has established an experienced professional team to implement a long-term development strategy, exemplified by the Taipei Far Eastern Telecom Park (Tpark). Tpark is northern Taiwan’s most comprehensive ICT innovation hub and Taiwan’s first LEED-certified campus. Tpark integrates with Far Eastern Memorial Hospital and Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology, together with residential, office, and public facilities, creating a fully connected living and working ecosystem. Through leasing of R&D office buildings, sales of residential products, and joint land development projects, FENC continues to maximize land utilization efficiency. At the same time, the Company strategically divests idle, non-core lands to optimize its asset portfolio and strengthen operating capital. The Investment business primarily invests in the leading listed companies of the Far Eastern Group, generating stable and consistent growth in profitability.

FENC emphasized its commitment to deepening its green supply chain and advancing AI transformation, with the goal of achieving balanced growth, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility to ensure long-term sustainable operations.
