FENC Makes Its Debut in S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2025, Wins Industry Mover Award

Far Eastern New Century Corporation (FENC) has been recognized for the first time in S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2025, a prestigious global sustainability assessment. This milestone not only underscores FENC’s commitment to sustainable development but also highlights its remarkable progress, earning it the Industry Mover award in the Industrial Conglomerate industry. This recognition reflects FENC’s outstanding performance and reaffirms its dedication to advancing ESG initiatives.

The S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook is one of the world’s leading sustainability evaluations, assessing companies across Environmental (E), Social (S), and Governance (G) dimensions. Covering 62 industries and 7,690 companies worldwide, only the top 15% (a total of 780 companies) qualify for inclusion, making this a highly competitive recognition. Not only did FENC secure its place in the Yearbook, but it also achieved an overall score improvement of more than 5% compared to the previous year, marking the most significant progress within its industry. This exceptional performance earned FENC the Industry Mover distinction, further solidifying its leadership in sustainable development.

In addition, in December 2024, FENC was also recognized for the first time in the globally renowned Dow Jones Sustainability Emerging Markets Index (formerly DJSI, renamed the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Emerging Markets Index in February 2025). FENC is the first and only Industrial Conglomerate in Taiwan to receive this prestigious distinction.

Looking ahead, FENC remains committed to its strategy of empowering possibility and sustainability. Through continuous innovation and collaboration, the company will further advance sustainable progress and drive meaningful impact on a global scale.
