Pink afternoon tea supports International Breast Cancer Awareness Month by FEPH
“Pink Afternoon Tea” features a variety of delicious treats and stunning views of Taipei 101.
To commemorate October as International Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Shangri-la Far Eastern Hotel Taipei teamed up with Marie Claire launching "Pink Afternoon Tea" at the Marco Polo Lounge on the hotel’s 38th floor. Guests can enjoy a delightful array of sweet treats while admiring stunning views of Taipei 101.
The hotel's international culinary team has designed a range of dreamy savory and sweet dishes using natural and healthy ingredients, available exclusively on weekends.
The afternoon tea set includes 12 savory and sweet treats, seasonal fruits, and a glass of pink wine. Fifteen percent of the net proceeds from the afternoon tea will be donated to the Taiwan Cancer Foundation to support breast cancer research.
A highlight of the Barbie-themed afternoon tea is the "Peach Mousse with Rose Jelly," a visually stunning and delicious treat. The smooth and silky peach mousse is adorned with fresh strawberries and rose jelly, creating a delicate and refreshing flavor.
Other delectable offerings include fluffy raspberry mini donuts paired with a light and airy vanilla whipped cream, and crostino made with handmade bread and topped with fresh strawberries.
The pink macarons are filled with a delicate rose and cheese filling, while a raspberry chocolate heart adds a touch of sweetness.
The savory items are equally impressive. The chef has created a delightful combination of Parma ham, creamy goat cheese, and nuts, wrapped in tomato jelly for a unique texture. A refreshing avocado shrimp salad tartlet and beetroot salmon cream cheese with dill provide a light and flavorful option.
