• The 6th Y. Z. Hsu Scientific Chair Professor：
  The award is to give commendation to those who have extraordinary contribution in new scientific area. The foundation continuously recruits fulltime teaching full professors at universities around Taiwan to be Y.Z. Hsu Chair Professor. This award includes a trophy and prize of one million NT dollars (NT$1,000,000) to every award winner.
  
  Three Chair Professors will be selected from three categories: “Nano Science & Technology Chair Professor”, “Communication & Optoelectronics Chair Professor” and “Bio-medical technology Chair Professor” in Year 2007 with a total prize of three million NT dollars (NT$3,000,000)
  
  
  
• The 6th Y. Z. Hsu Scientific Paper Award：
  This award is to encourage academic researches published and to raise the technological level. Each award winner will be rewarded with prize of NT$200,000.
  
  Three categories for the award selection in Year 2007 are “Nano Science & Technology”, “Communication & Optoelectronics” and “Bio-medical technology”. Two winner per category will be selected with total prize of 1.2 million NT dollars (NT$1,200,000)
  
  
  
• The 3th Y. Z. Hsu Technology Invention Award：
  This award, which is held every other year, is to encourage communications between academia and industrial circles for further technology applications. This award is targeted at teachers and researchers at all domestic universities, polytechnics, incubation centers and research institutions. For those who cohere with specific criteria and has gained invention patent, each award winner will be given a trophy and prize money of NT$200,000
  
  This year, one winner will be selected from each of the following main categories for the award: “Nano Science & Technology”, “Communication & Optoelectronics” and “Biotechnology” with total prize money of NT$600,000.
  
  
  
• The 4th Y. Z. Hsu Yuan-Ze Chair Professor：
  This award is to improve and gain competitiveness of Yuan Ze University founded by  Y.Z. Hsu. The award will be given to full professor with outstanding academic performance. Three winners will be selected for this award with total prize of NT1,200,000 and each winner will be awarded with a trophy and prize of NT$400,000
  
  
  
• The 6th Y. Z. Hsu Outstanding Professor Award：
  The award is to further the knowledge and medical technology, and to praise professors or associate professors who teaching at Yuan Ze University founded by Y.Z. Hsu or Oriental Institute of Technology or Far Eastern Memorial Hospital or National Taiwan University Hospital with outstanding achievements. Each winner will be rewarded with a trophy and a prize of NT$300,000.
  
  This year, 4 winners will be selected from “Science, Technology & Humanity”, 2 winners from “Medical Technology”, with total prize money of 1.8 million NT dollars (NT$1,800,000).

The 5th Y. Z. Hsu Scientific Award Ceremony
To confer the winners with trophy, prize money and certificate selected in year 2006 held by the foundation.

Y. Z. Hsu Seminar
One of the past Y.Z. Hsu Scientific Chair Professor will be invited to make a speech seminar with topic of “Technology & Innovation” at the venue of Y.Z.Hsu Scientific Award Ceremony.

Collection of Y. Z. Hsu Award Papers of Science and Technology Volume 2
In 2005, the foundation has collected 14 published papers from 1st to 3rd Y.Z. Hsu Science and Technology Award winners and published it as a Collection. This Collection was distributed to National Library, domestic research centers and every university libraries for collection with positive result. The foundation plans to collect 12 winner papers awarded from 4th to 5th Award into Volume 2 in 2007.

To further the technology innovation, the foundation has budget every year to sponsor numerous events or forums in Taiwan.

Construction of of Y. Z. Hsu Memorial Hall
The foundation has funded 820 million NT dollars for building Y. Z. Hsu Memorial Hall.
