The January 2005 issue of Taiwan's prominent "Travel + Leisure Magazine" revealed that Far Eastern Plaza Hotel managed by Shangri-La International Group was one of the "2004 T + L 500 World's Best Hotels" chosen by its readers. Furthermore, the September 2004 issue of this magazine also rated Far Eastern Plaza Hotel as one of the "2004 Best Business Hotel in the World." Far Eastern Plaza Hotel was also the only hotel in Taiwan to make these two listings.

Managed by Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Far Eastern Plaza Hotel has led the industry in terms of occupancy rate and average room rate over the past years.
