In compliance with the Government's liberalization and globalization policy, the Far Eastern Group initiated its banking and securities businesses to offer all-directional financial services.

The Far Eastern Group established Far Eastern International Bank in 1992 in the wake of the Government's adoption of an economic liberalization and financial globalization policy. FEIB has total assets exceeding NT$300 billion, 36 business locations throughout Taiwan, and 2,300 plus employees. Its branch office in Hong Kong was established in 2006, marking the Bankˇ¦s entry into international financial markets.

FEIB's innovative services include the first mobile banking, telephone banking, and online banking breaking through the limitation of time and space, and providing year-round 24-7 services. It also leads the industry in completing the Automated Clearing House (ACH) work station and is among the 8 leading banks to be included in the nationˇ¦s Plan C for converging local bankˇ¦s electronic-money flow and enterprise information flow to provide quick, convenient and safe financial services.

FEIB is actively building a financial system that encompasses operations in billing, leasing, insurance, trust, securities, and asset management, etc. It has also established a branch office in Hong Kong to serve Taiwanese merchants and keep in line with international financial information. The Bank is rapidly developing into a professional and international commercial bank with top service quality.

Well known for its expertise in financial management, the Far Eastern Group established Oriental Securities Corp. in 1979 as a fully integrated security house. With advanced information system, professional manager system and enthusiastic working attitude, Oriental Securities offers complete financial and wealth management services to serve the public.

In order to provide more comprehensive and more professional personal finance information and planning services, Oriental Securities Corp. established in May 1999 Oriental Securities Investment Advisory Co., Ltd. And in 2008, Deutsche Far Eastern Asset Managment Co. was established with a joint partner of Deutsche Bank AG. Deutsche FE is devoted to bring in professional knowledge of international investment and business administration in asset management on the matured plateform of professional ability that was built by the Far Eastern Group over the long period of time. Further more, global funds will be introduced by DWS Investment to service more customers with more choices.

Far Eastern International Securities (FEIS), former ING Securities Taiwan, became a new member of Far Eastern Group in December, 2011. FEIS focus on providing private banking services to high net worth individuals and professional foreign securities services to financial institutions.
